EMI Common Mode Coil

An EMI (Electromagnetic Interference) common mode coil, also known as a CM choke or CM filter, is a type of electronic component used to suppress electromagnetic interference in electronic circuits.EMI common mode coils are typically made of a ferrite core with windings of copper wire. The windings are designed to create a high impedance to common mode noise signals, while allowing normal differential mode signals to pass through unaffected.Common mode noise refers to unwanted electromagnetic interference that appears in both the positive and negative lines of a circuit, relative to a reference point.
